Can your online coaching be done in any environment?

They can be done in a lot of spaces however as better as you set up the environment and more supportive it would be. In order to get most out of the environment here are a few recommendation:

  • reserve more time, connect early into the meeting, and make the time to switch off from your everyday live; do not rush into the minute before the coaching appointment starts.
  • ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • if you have an option to speak via camera it would be beneficial. You could dial in by phone but camera use is of advantage as it deepens the experience
  • find an environment where you could fully focus; avoid if you can background noise, other people, your mobile phone switched on or computer apps / notifications in the background. Put everything else on the side and avoid being interrupted by ohter people in your home environment
